History is one of the fundamental elements that fuels the passion and community surrounding a vehicle like the Jeep Gladiator, and that’s why the American manufacturer’s pickup benefits from a special Willys 41 edition paying tribute to the legendary Jeep Kaiser M715 and the iconic Willys.
The Willys package comes with several exclusive features, including 17-inch olive-colored wheels, the Mojave-style hood, Willys 41 Havana-colored seats, and a few meadow-green accents.
On the outside, you’ll also find steel front and rear bumpers as well as a grille guard.
One of the things I appreciate most about Stellantis is the speed at which its vehicles become available after their unveiling. With the competition, you often have to wait years—or at best, several months. But with the Jeep Gladiator Willys 41, you can already head to a dealership and place your order.
The starting price for the Willys 41 version is set at $62,995, including destination and preparation fees, positioning it between the Sport S and Mojave trims.
Under the hood, the Jeep Gladiator Willys 41 uses the same powertrain found elsewhere in the American pickup’s lineup. It’s powered by a 3.6-liter V6 producing 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a standard 4x4 system.
Jeep has been offering the Willys edition for many years now, and it remains one of the brand’s most popular options, especially with the Wrangler. There’s a good chance we’ll see plenty of Gladiator Willys 41 models hitting the road in the coming months.
